The T75 40,000L LNG ISO Container produced by CSCTRUCK China Tank Truck is a high-performance cryogenic intermodal tank designed for the safe and efficient transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) across road, sea, and rail networks. Manufactured in compliance with TSG R0005-2011 Mobile Pressure Vessel Safety Technical Inspection Regulations, the IMDG Code, JB/T 4780-2002 LNG Tank Container standards, and the Container Inspection Code-2012, this unit meets stringent international safety and engineering requirements for hazardous gas transport (Class 2.1).
Structurally, the LNG ISO container follows a T75, 1AA ISO framework with overall dimensions of 12,192 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm. It has a total volume of 40,440 L and an effective working volume of 36,400 L, with a rated filling ratio of 90%. The tare weight is 18,023 kg, the maximum payload capacity is 14,700 kg, and the rated gross weight is 32,723 kg. It also supports a stacking load of up to 192,000 kg, ensuring compatibility with multi-modal logistics operations.
The inner vessel is constructed from S30408 stainless steel, while the outer jacket uses Q345R pressure vessel steel. It is designed for extreme cryogenic conditions, with an internal working temperature down to -162°C and a design temperature of -196°C. The maximum working pressure is 0.7 MPa, with a design pressure of 0.8 MPa, and the system operates under high-vacuum multilayer insulation to minimize boil-off, achieving a static evaporation rate of ≤0.18% per day.
Safety systems include pneumatic emergency cut-off valves (DN50/DN32), ZA25-5B low-temperature safety valves, CYJ-1 level gauges, and DN50 loading/unloading flange connections. The container also features fusible plugs (70±5°C), pressure gauges (0–1.6 MPa), and explosion protection ports (DN80), ensuring comprehensive operational safety.
With a design service life of 15 years and corrosion allowances of 0–1 mm, this LNG ISO container delivers robust durability, high thermal efficiency, and reliable performance for global LNG logistics.

Technical Requirements |

| 1. | This frame tank container should carry out all kinds of tests according to the GB / T16563-1996 and China Classification Society “Container Inspection Code”. | |||||
| 2. | Except for the pictures’ mark, the type and size of the welded structure shall be in accordance with GB /Â 985.1. The height of the weld foot and weld fillet is according to the thickness of the thinner steel plate. There should not be cracks, slag, porosity, or undercut, etc. on the surface of the welded joint. Weld seam surface will be inspected through the magnetic powder or penetration testing (preferred magnetic powder). Meet NB / t47013.4 (5) -2015, Class I qualified. | |||||
| 3. | The accessories for this tank container shall meet the corresponding standards of product quality certification, which can carry out the air tightness test together with the tank after passing the re-examination, and form a complete set, then be delivered from the factory. | |||||
| 4 | Valve opening operation should be able to withstand the pressure of the air tightness test, fully open, fully closed, flexible operation, no abnormal resistance, idling, and so on. | |||||
| 5 | All signs, brand names, and stickers will be made according to the drawings after the completion of the painting. The area around the signs, brand names, and rivets will be sealed with the sealant. | |||||
| 6 | The vertical plane of the longitudinal centerline of the tank container shall be coincident with the vertical plane of the longitudinal centerline of the frame. The offset shall not exceed 5mm. | |||||
| 7 | All supports of the connections between the tank and the frame should be thin welding, and welding firm and reliable, the weld seam surface shall not have cracks, undercut, stomata, crater, or splash. | |||||
| 8 | Tank coating in line with the relevant provisions of JB / T4711-2003. After completely cleaning the rust from the outside carbon steel surface of the tank, I coated two coats of anti-rust primer and two coats of white finish. | |||||
| 9 | The tank needs to be replaced with nitrogen or vacuumed before leaving the factory. (1) the use of nitrogen replacement treatment, the oxygen content after treatment is less than 3%, and keep the residual pressure 0.05MPa ~ 0.1MPa; (2) the use of vacuum treatment, the vacuum after treatment is not less than 0.086MPa. |

| 10 | Emergency cut-off device should be installed before the air tightness test, the test medium is air, the test pressure is 0.1Mpa; After the installation is complete, Emergency shut-off device should be done through emergency cut off and filter protection test, gas valve, liquid valve and booster valve completely closed in 5S qualified, air source control valve rotation flexibility, no jamming phenomenon. | |||||
